Your NetSuite ledger,
reconciled where it is.

Bring the ledger side of each bank account in from Oracle NetSuite, with its opening balance, without exports.

Open Brillrec
Five steps

Your NetSuite administrator sets up access once. A Brillrec admin then connects it.

01

Switch on token access

In NetSuite, open Setup > Company > Enable Features, then SuiteCloud, and tick REST Web Services and Token-Based Authentication.

02

Create an integration record

Open Setup > Integration > Manage Integrations > New, name it Brillrec, tick Token-Based Authentication and save. Copy the consumer key and secret: NetSuite shows them once.

03

Create a read-only role

Open Setup > Users/Roles > Manage Roles > New. Give it view access to Accounts, Find Transaction and the transaction types posted to your bank accounts, SuiteAnalytics Workbook, and full access to REST Web Services and Log in using Access Tokens. Give the role to the user Brillrec will act as.

04

Create an access token

Open Setup > Users/Roles > Access Tokens > New, choose the Brillrec integration, that user and that role, and save. Copy the token ID and secret: NetSuite shows them once.

05

Connect in Brillrec

You need a Brillrec account first. As an admin, open Settings, then Connections, find Oracle NetSuite and choose Connect, or choose Connect Oracle NetSuite while adding a bank account. Type your account ID (Setup > Company > Company Information) and the four values. Brillrec checks them with NetSuite, keeps them encrypted and never shows the secrets again.

Common questions

Quick answers.

What does Brillrec read?

The transactions posted to the bank accounts you link, with each one’s date, document number, memo and customer or supplier, and the account’s balance before the period. It only reads: nothing in NetSuite is changed.

Does it work with a NetSuite sandbox?

Yes. Use the sandbox account ID, for example 1234567_SB1, with an integration record and token made in the sandbox.

Our bank account is in another currency.

NetSuite’s posted amounts are in your subsidiary’s base currency. For an account in another currency, check the figures against the bank statement’s currency, or upload the account’s register instead.

“NetSuite didn’t accept the account ID, keys or token.”

Check the account ID and the four values, that the token was made for the Brillrec integration and that user and role, and that the role has Log in using Access Tokens.

“NetSuite didn’t accept the query.”

The role is missing a permission. Add view access to Accounts, Find Transaction and SuiteAnalytics Workbook, then try again.

How do I stop sharing?

Choose Disconnect on the connection in Brillrec, then revoke the access token in NetSuite (Setup > Users/Roles > Access Tokens).
